Lampworking

I never thought lamp working would be something I might be good at but I gave it a shot. For a while I was just using any color to make any bead that was even in size. Then I started with this gray/bright yellow/white combo and fell in love. I think it was mostly for the yellow. But all the shades of grey were unexpected! I have a nice set of hand made beads now and have made some earrings for myself and given a set (last pic) to my friend for her birthday. Purple is her favorite color. I am SO appreciative of the teacher for this class that I was able to take over lunch for several days. Very calming during and oh, so pretty results!
