One Step at a Time

This pic is from Dec. 2007 of my very first nephew (Nikolas) at his very first walk on the beach. I have very high hopes for him because almost 2.5 years later (May 9th) he is running in circles, growing curiouser and curiouser every day. Yes, very similar to Alice in Wonderland. Little does he know that he and his little bro, Nathan, are such a huge people to both myself and my family. I can't explain it but we've all become a lot closer since the announcement of his upcoming arrival that day at my parent's dining room table (to which we all screamed with excitement!). It's refreshing to be so close to two little innocent people whose minds wander with the wind and don't even know what petty things they will sometimes want to fly away from.
